Luglio - Settembre 2000
On the road. Sulle orme di Jack Kerouac per scrivere la nostra avventura. Con il mio caro amico Michael, e Lisa, la nostra fedele Toyota Corolla, intraprendiamo un interminabile viaggio in auto sulle strade americane, attraversando 29 stati e totalizzando alla fine ben 11728 miglia da costa a costa da Santa Cruz per poi tornare al punto di partenza, galoppando sulla mitica "mother road", la Route 66. Alla fine i giorni trascorsi negli Stati Uniti saranno proprio 66. Casualita'? Chi lo sa...ma cio' che conta e' il sapore di questa avventura, semplice e meravigliosa, come dormire sotto le stelle svegliandosi con i colori dell'alba del "big sky" del Montana. Nelle pagine successive è presente l'archivio fotografico completo di questa meravigliosa avventura. In alcune tappe del viaggio e' possibile ascoltare le registrazioni dei momenti piu' simpatici, effettuate mediante un piccolo registratore che ci ha seguito a cavallo degli States.

On the road. Following Jack Kerouac's footsteps to write our adventure. With my great friend Michael, and Lisa, our wonderful Toyota Corolla, we started in Santa Cruz, Ca this neverending road trip, through 29 states scoring at the end 11728 miles coast to coast. We got our kicks on the "mother road", Route 66. At the end of the adventure the days spent in the United States will be 66. Coincidence? Who knows...but the most important thing is the taste of this adventure, simple and wonderful, like sleeping under the stars, waking up with the colors of the sunrise of the Montana "big sky".
